& w The Durham Baptist Sunday School held their annual picnic on Saturday at the Fall Show grounds. The day was fine and warm., and the place is much to be and warm, and the place is much to be preferred to the Park in many respects. . Young and old enjoyed themselves in true picnic fashion. Messrs Will Collinâ€" son and Thos McNiece gave everyone an auto ride around the Belt Line Race track. There were lots of candies, and games and races. C. P. Kinnee‘s 5 gallon can of ice cream was a centre of attraction while it lasted, The races were better than on previous yearsfor which much credit is due to McMâ€". The married men‘s race with 8 entrics was keenly contested but the married women‘s race with 9 entries was the event of the day. ‘The tea was excellent and the youngâ€" sters enjoyed the feast of good things prepared for them by the ladies. 7 There were no young men present and many were the references to the boys on our Honour Roll who are away at the war. May they each and all be spared to be with us at the next annual Sunday School To be healthy at seventy, prepare at forty, is sound advice, because in the strength of middle life we too often forget that neglected colds, or careless treatâ€" ment â€"Jla;ii'g-!-:{ aches and &ins, simply undermine strength and bring chronic weakness for later years. _ _ To be stronger when older, keep your blood pure and rich and active with the strengthâ€" building and bloodâ€"nourishing meflies of Scott‘s Emulsion which is a , a tonic and a medicine to keep your blood rich, alleviate rhenmatism and avoid sickness.
