Mr. Alex Henderson ‘referred to the hiberal grants of the Council, explained the boundaries of the various societies in the township, the council agreeing to help those who helped themselves. ___Oa Friday evening last the Patriotâ€" io Bociety of this stirring little village beld their annual gathering, this time a bavquet us on the first occasion in April 1916, Later years conforming with the desire of the Food Board, refreshments were eliminated. _ A rousing meeting was held on the 2ad of April, 1917, a; which Lieut, Col, Rorke, Lieut, Yule and Mr. J.
