Riddell, Luther, was a caller in cur burg Wednesday last. The community was shocked to learn of the sudden death of a bighly esteemed citizen, Mr Alex McEachâ€" nie on Saturday evening, March 5th trom beart tailure. _ "Sandy," as be was so well and tavorably knoown, for about a year, had warnings that his beart was weak and had to give ap strentwous work. . The day prevâ€" ious w his death he had been feeling as well as usual and had even gone to the bush with his boys ard bad partaken of a hearcy supper. About ten minutes after. retiring he passed away withont a moment‘s warning, a warning to us to ‘‘Take heed, warch and pray, for ye know not when the Bon of man cometh.‘‘ Deceased was 57 years of age and spent all his life in this district. Io relizion he was a Presb3terian and was a reguilar atâ€" tendant at Swin:on Park. The late Mr MeEachaoio was an inâ€" dustrious and competent farmer and a good and obliging neighbor. About 25 years ago hbe married Miss Agnes McPbail and their home was always noted for its hospitality. He is survived by his wite and three sons, John, Peter and Murray ; two brothers, Neil cn the old home farm and John, Montana ; four sisters. Mrs P McEacberp, Fairbairn ; Mre J Rowland, Toronto ; Mrs D. Allan Durbam ; Jessie in Toronto These besidesa large circle of relatives and triends, deeply mourn his death.
