On Monday morning, Durham‘s contingent . of "volunteers, consistins of Serg‘t Bil Wilson and Ptes Freeâ€" The advance party was on the job at the camp all day Morday and they created a record in getting the e quipment in shape. They began their work at 9 a. m. and by night they bad up 116 bell tents, 21 marquees and 8 field officers tents and when Tuesday arrived, everything was in readiness to receive the troops. In addition to the above there are 4 double cook houses all well lighted. The Greys and Algonquins will mess together and the Northern Pioneers and the Foresiers will do the same thing. Om Tuesday, July 5th, the 22nd Inâ€" fantry Brigade went into camp for a period of nine days at Camp Saraâ€" wak, 3 miles north of O. Sound. This brigade which is under the command of Lieut. Col. G. D. Fleming, Brigaâ€" dier.. is composed of four regiments, The (Greys, the Algonquins from Alâ€" zoma and Temiskaming, the Forestâ€" ers from Simcoe County and the Northern Pioneers from â€" Muskoka and Parry Sound and there will be i0 men of all ranks in camp. Lt. Col T. J. Rutherfort of Owen Sound, is Commanding Officer of the Grey regâ€" iment. There wiHl be three bands in the camp, so there will be no lack of good music. The bands are the Simâ€" coe Foresters of Barrie : the Bugle Band of the Simcoe Foresters and J.
