Coleridge bas resigned her position as Librarian, to take efâ€" ect Dec. 31st. She has been in charge of the Library for the past 20 years, and has proved herself ar efficient official. The Library Board regretâ€" fully accepted her resignation and Mr Hildyard in moving it, expressed the appreciation and regret of the Libâ€" rary Board. Mr James Brown, one ol the Oldesl residents of Grey Co., passed peaceâ€" fully away at the home of his daughâ€" ter, Mrs Geo. McCail. Death came after being confined to his bed for four weeks. Tho‘ Mr Brown had not been in good health for some time, he was up and around until taken 10 his bed. 1 . sw ulev ce Mr Brown was born at Champlain, Quebec, Sept. 15, 1839, being at the time of his death 88 years, 3 mos, 12 days.
