On Wednesday last. Miss Kate Me- Bhail passed away at her home at Prleeville. She had not been weilfor some time and the last two weeksher condition became serious, tt tgatterer from anaemia. She was in her 75th year, of a kind and genial dlsposi- tion and held in the highest esteem. Two sisters mourn: Effie, Mrs Neil McLean at the Boo; Annie, Mrs Arch l McDermld, S. Line. Three sisters‘ predeceased her some time ago: Mrs‘ Chas McDonald (Christie): Mrs Joe Campbell (Flora) and Jane. One bro- ther Hugh lives on the old homestead where she was born. Two brothers, Neil and John died some years ago. 1The funeral was held Thursday from ‘the Pres. Church, Dr Mcivor having the service, assisted by Rev Mr Molr. Pall bearers were Mal. McLean, Neil McKinnon, Hugh McCormick Hector McEachern, Norman McIntyre, Jnn. ‘McNaily. Interment was made in McNell’s cemetery. Mu'h sympathy is felt here with the death of Mrs Clarence Ross (nee Laura Eccles ot Yeovil), well and favorably known here in her girl- hood days. Heartfelt sympathy goes out to the sorely bereaved husband and to the father and mother, Mr and Mrs D. Eccles. We are pleased to welcome back to our midst, Messrs S. J. McDermld and Earl Brown, who were temporar- ily placed on different sections ot the Railway. His word was good on all occasions. ovirr 50 years ago he married Joan McAulay ot Birdell and to them were born seven sons and two daughters. The daughters are Jennie. Mrs Mc- Cann, Eurhrturitr, Susie, Mrs Charles White, Proton: the sons, Thos., oti Euphrasia: Daniel, who sleeps in Flanders' Fields: Robt J. and Chas., near Swinton Park: Joseph, ot Dro. more: Albert, who died here 17 years ago and Andrew, who being deaf tutdl, dumb, has been the great care of mother and father. Mrs McNaulty died on Feb. 12th last, aged 76: Mr. McNaulty, May 12th, just three mon- ths after, in his 78th year. Billy Mus Naulty left not only to his family, but to all who knew him, an example i which we all could follow with profit, of honesty, industry and truthfulness one who never cried depression. He also left two farms, lots 3 and 19, con 19, Proton, with we learn, provision for his needy son, Andrew. Tho Passing of William McNaulty The funeral was held on Sunday. from the home to the utter Day Saint church, where service was con. ducted by Elder Taylor ot Grand Val. ley. Undertaker, G. Watson, Price- vllle, was in charge. Interment was made on the hillside there beside his wife and son. The Pall bearers were six nvphews: Roy McNaulty, Proton: Geo. Brown, St Vincent: Alfred, Geo. and Howard Hutchison, liluphratria, and Thea Knott, Euphrasia. Two brothers survive, John, ot Proton and Robert of B. C.
