Farm Home Prey to Flames has suffered a heavy loss in the deâ€" struction of his fine house on his home farm, by fire. Mr. Brown had the farm rented. The house was a large brick structure, and is thought a defective chimney was responsible for the fire. Afater a day of intense heat, on Monday last, an electrical storm deâ€" veloped late in afternoon, which had disastrous results. While it was very dark in Durham and near distâ€" rict, it was noted that to the north, it was much more severe.
