Stewâ€" art‘s attack of quinsy and hope she wll soon be about again. Mr and Mrs Wilbert Blyth enter tained Mr and Mrs W. Ritchie and Mr and Mrs Thos. McGirr of Durâ€" ham at dinner last Thursday evenâ€" ing. A euchre party was held last Tuesâ€" day in the hall under the auspices of the L.O.L. Miss Susie Marshall and Mr. â€"â€"â€" were the prize winâ€" ners. _ The Women‘s Association held a very successful social last Friday evâ€" ening at the home of Mr and Mrs. Alfred McCabe. Eight tables of crokinole were in progress and this furnished â€" the entertainment of the evening. The neck measuring as performed by Mr and Mrs John Robâ€" inson also providé@d much amuseâ€" ment for those present. Miss Velma Blyth and Mr Arthur McCabe were the prize winners. A lunch of pork and beans, bread and butter and pie was served by the ladies. About six dollats was realized.
