This extension of existing service from Collingwood to Midland, Peneâ€" tang and the service from Kincarâ€" dine to Collingwood would go a long way in rounding up bus transportaâ€" tion system in this part of Ontario. The Central Ontario bus lines also propose a direct bus service from Kincardine through Port Elgin, Southâ€" ampton, Owen Sound, Meaford â€" and Collingwood _ on through Wasaga Beach to Elmvale, Midland and Peneâ€" tang. This is really an extension of the present summer service which goes from Kincardine as far as Colâ€" lingwood. They want a franchise from Kincardine to Collingwood via Walkâ€" erton, Hanover, Durham, Flesherton and Singhampton. This would conâ€" nect with the Blue Water Highway service at Kincardine and with the Midland service at Collingwood and‘ would connect also with bus service from London via Wingham to Walkâ€" erton. This would give a much needâ€" ed service through Bruce, Grey and Simcoe counties in a district which is not now served by either railâ€" way or bus line. DURHAM PUBLIC SCHOOL J. H.
