Mrs Fair was born at Dickie Settleâ€" ment, passing her earlier years there and in Galt after her parents took up residence there. Margaret Short reed, who was married twice, was married in Galt to Andrew Bell who passed away about 1915 at Cargill where they were residing. She was later married to Wm. Fair of Galt and Detroit, the marriage being solâ€" emnized in Galt. Mr Fair passed aâ€" way about four years ago in Detroit. The death occurred in Toronto earâ€" ly Friday last of Margaret Shortreed widow of Mr Wm. Fair and daughâ€" ter of the late Mr and Mrs Robert Shortreed. _ Mrs Fair passed away suddenly at the residence of her sisâ€" ter, following a heart attack. She was in her 72nd year. Mr and Mrs W.
