Accivext.â€"Wednesday morning | last about 5:30 as No. 3 train from Palmerston was within about two miles of Fergus it ran ever a man named Charles Burt, a farmer from Garafrata, but who has been residing in Fergus this summer with his daughter. He was lying with his head on the rail, his body being on the Bank and covered up with some brush. He had something over two hundred dollars on his person the day before, and was seen in company with some strangers, there being a good number in town drawn by the show that was there. When found his money was all gone. Whether he had strayed off that wayâ€" which is not likely, and is not in the diâ€" rection in which he residedâ€"or was taken anp the track, robbed and stunned and then wlaced upon the track so that the passing train would rum over him, is not known ; but it is feared he has met with foul play. Much sympathy is felt for the friends, he being well {:uwn and respected. An inâ€" «mest was held on the body of the deceased and on Thursday evening a verdict was returned by the jury to the effect that he eame to his death by being struck with a locomotive. No blame was attacked to the employees of the railway company. Presextatros to Revy D. J. Macpoxâ€" NELLâ€"The Rev. D. J.
