On Intimation by the clerk, Mr. Park, that the Foreign Mission Committee had appointed a deputation consisting of the Rev. Mr. M:Donald, of Elora, Rev. Mr. Cameron, of Chatsworth, and Mr. Thomas McCrea of Gueiph, to visit the Presbytery,in the interests of the Foreign Mission specially and asking the Presbyâ€" tery *o make such arrangement as might be deemed best to give the deputation a hearing. The Presbytery resolved to hold a series of missionary meetings throughout the whole Presbytery, and appointed Messrs. Fraser, Crozier and Morrison, a committee to narke all necessary arrangeâ€" ments for them, and that the arrangement be such, that due regard in the addresses to the people be paid to the schemes of the churech but especially to the Foreign Mission, the college and thke Home Mission. + Orangeville to Revr. Mr. Harkness, of Maxwell and Feversham, Osprey, was disposed of in like maunor. Mr. Harkness relioved from his charge, and Rev. Mr. Park apâ€" pointed to preach the church vacant and act as Moderator pro tem. of the Kirk Sesâ€" sion. The vacancy of all those congreâ€" gations will occur early in January next. This Presbytery met in St. Andrew‘s church, Mount Forest, on Tuesday, Dec. 18th, at 2 c‘clock p. m. and continued its sitting till Wedunesday evening. The folâ€" lowing are some of the most important items of business transacted : A call from the congregation at Windsor Presbytery of QGuebuc, to the Rev. W, Matheson of North Arthur, was considerâ€" ed and the translation of Mr. Matheson agreed to. Rev. Mr. Macmillan was apâ€" pointe to preach the North Arthur conâ€" gregation vacant, and Mr. Morrison to act as Moderator pro tem. of the Kirk Sesâ€" sion. Mr. Gunn reported that the deputation appointed to visit Eugenia and Potts Corâ€" ners had done so, and that they found in the vicinity of Potts Corners about 20 famâ€" iles of Scotch Highlanders destitute of the means of Grace, ‘and that Eugenia also needed to be specially looked after. Fraser and Macmoillan to the field at their own convenience‘and give them commisâ€" sion to confer with all the neighboring stations and make such arrangements as they best can for the prosperity of the eause and the good of the people there. Mr. Cameron of Palmerston, also reâ€" ported that he and Mr. Stuart visited as instructed, Waldemer and Little Toronto and were successful in effocting a union between these two, and that there was now the prospect of an early settlement of a pastor, harmony and success.
