Dark crimson elqve pinks turn black, other dark red flowers turn dark violet; all white flowers turn sulghuryellow. ‘This change of color is especially beautiful when the flowers are variegated oy tho single petals possess a differest color,. As soon as the new colog is fully developed, the flowers must be dipped atfonce in cold water, when they will keep their new shade for two or six hours; by degrees then their natural solor returus. The may cure you (Elecampane grows very abundantly in some sections in this country and is & very useful herb.â€"Ed.) This remedy has been used in and aâ€" bout Philadelphia tor forty years and longâ€" er, with great suceess. and is known as the Goodman remedy. I am acquainted with a physician who told me he had used it more than thirty years, but never knew a ease that failed where it was properly adâ€" ministered. Among other cases he monâ€" tioned one where a number of cows had been bitten by a mad dog. To half of this number they administered this remedy, to the other half not. The latter all died of hydrophobis, while those who took the cleâ€" campane and milk showed no signs of that disease. I can give some facts which may be of use to somebody, thereby saving life. The time between the biting of an animal by & raad dog and showing signs of hydrophobia is not less than nine days, but may be nine months. After the animal has become raâ€" bid, & bite or seratch of the teuth upon a porson, or slobber coming in 1 a sore or raw place, would produce bydroâ€" phobiajust as soon as though be had been Bitten by a mad dog. Hydrophobis can be prevented, and I will give what is well known to be an infallible remedy, if propâ€" *~‘~ administered, for man or beast. A se for m horse or cow should be about four times as great as for a person. It is zot too !nto to give medicine any time beâ€" frs the spasms come on. The first dose for a person is one and a hall ounces of elemcaimpatie root, bruised, put in a pint of new milk, reduced to one balf by boiling, then taken all at one dose in the morning, fasting until afterncon, or nt least a very light diet after several hours have elapsed. The second doss same as firat, except take two otincss of the root : tinrd dose the same as the last, to /s taken bvery other day. Three doses ars all that 1e nsoded, and there need be no fear. This 1 know from my own experience, and know of a number of other cases where it bas been entirely successful. This is not guess work. Those persous alluded to were bitten by their own dogs, and were perned up to ree if they would go mad. They did'ol mad, and did bite the persons. fowers are rooms to dry, pufin?y_uâ€"i';e“w'r medical cq4imix 'B"Fâ€"_ -l'r“ dock °°‘! fl; tsn cures 1« seases of R blood, hvurtan knl’msyo,nervm- and general debility, and is the purest and best tonic in the world. â€"bl33 For all kinds of machines use *Castorine" Machine Oil. _ For sale by G.
