Telford for a grant to the 31st Battalion, and of the Poultry and Pet Stock Association, of Owen Sound, were refused ; grants of $25 each were recommended to the Farmers‘ Inâ€" stitutes of each riding and of $25 each to the Teachers‘ Institutes of south west and east Grey. The clerk was instructed to notâ€" i‘y the councils of the townships interâ€" ested to give the petitioners relief as speedily as possible, A similar matter between Artemesia and Euphrasia was dealt with in clause two of this report. The county clerk was dirccted to call the attention of the councils interested to their statutory position in reference to this matter and in the event of their failing in their duty, the warden and G. A. Brown were appointed a committee on behalf of the county council to inâ€" quire intoand adjust the matter. Clause three appointed Messrs.
