Hi, Clifford Gartshore's son (James Clifford Gartshore born in 1928) would like to make a correction to this article. The purchase of Roy Fowler's Menswear on Brock Street South should be 1951. Also, he would like to add that he was the founder of Ross Ames and Gartshore Motors in Oshawa approximately 1923 - 1930. They sold Hudson, Teraplane and Essex automobiles, which are no longer made. He married Jessie Munro Wilson in approximately 1922 or 1923. They had one son James Clifford Gartshore, born September 10, 1928. He also had two grandsons, James David Gartshore and Donald Clifford Gartshore. Thank you. James Clifford Gartshore & James David Gartshore
