In this picture Marion Jamieson should be Mary Lou Jamieson and Robert Zisner should be spelled Zeisner. Mary Lou is sitting next to me. Catherine Bush Randall

The lady on the top left, Margaret Webber and her mother were neighbours of my family for many years. My mother and aunts attended school with her and I was lucky to have her teach me piano in her family home on Brock St. S. for a while. I believe she was involved with Whitby County Town Singers for many years.
Mrs.Hibbard also brings back memories for me personally as I believe she was a teacher at Anderson High School in the 60's. I was her student and she helped me through a difficult subject and a difficult year.
Thank you,
Susan Andres

Wow! What a lot of familiar names. I transferred to Whitby a few years after this picture was taken. Then we were attending Whitby District High School (later Henry St.)
The school had a terrific track team and a successful football team. The gang going down to the arena to cheer on the Dunlop games at every game is still a vivid memory. Every so often I google some of the names to see where they are now, unfortunately, with limited success. The great Whitby Diaspora? Far too many obituaries.
I did get back to Whitby a few times to catch up with some friends in the late fifties and met more when the Lacross Team came out to play the Salmon Bellies in New Westminster, BC. I couldn't make the one class reunion I was informed about, But Marion Irwin (Hare) did send me some pictures. Whitby is nothing but fond memories.
