- Margaret Prentice was born at Crawford-John, Lanarkshire, Scotland in 1812. She married William Gladstone Sinclair at Wandell & Lamington, Lanarkshire, Scotland on 28 December 1832.
The couple settled in Whitby Township in 1833 and from 1861 onwards they lived at Glenrath Farm on lot 18, Broken Front Concession.
Margaret died on 23 June 1893 at Whitby Township and is buried at Union Cemetery in Oshawa. - Date of Original
