Sponsored by DuPont Canada, which put up $3,000 in prize money and is covering the cost of run- ning it, the contest is open to artists of all ages. It's free to enter, as long as you're a member of the Gallery; otherwise, you have to come up with the cost of membership - $35 for families, $25 for a sin- gle membership, $15 for a teen or child and $10 for seniors. The deadline for entries is June 13 - call the Gal- lery at 668-4185 for entry forms - and judging will take place June 25, with the selected entries to be exhibited from July 5 to August 3. Entrants will be divided into three categories - adults, students up to 18- years-old and children 12- and-under. Original prints, paint- ings, drawings, photos, crafts (textiles, clay, wood, glass, etc.) sculpture and mixed media works with a maximum size of approxi- mately 36" x 36" for wall pieces and 36" x 36" x 72" for floor pieces will be ac- cepted.
