Runners-up A Po rt P e r ry entry, that of Joyce Howson, Helen Bathe, Norma Kenny and Ruth Mitchell, skip, had 38½ points for t h e i r t w o wins, as runners-up to the trophy-winners. Second pri ze on the 9 a. m. draw went to a U n i o n v i IlI e entry skipped by Joy Risebrough with 38 points and runners- up to second prize w as claimed by a W h i tby entry of Jan Kinsman, Dorothy Houghton, Betty Hollinger and Lee Mc- Luhan skip, also with 38 points. Inthe second draw Dori s Ames , Whitby rink had 34 3/4 points. High one-win prizes were claimed by Peg Sel lers and her rink from Avonlea, an d by t h e Lindsay e n t ry skipped by Shirley Moore. B o n s p iel convenor Tiny Sorichetti an d h e r committee arranged spaghetti and meat balls and chieken at noon for all rinks. Pizza and coffee were served after the second game. Mr. Bob Attersley wasonhand topresent the trophy and in- dividual awards to the bonspiel winners. Bill Kent Star Of Bonspiel Wrapup WHITBY-Bi Il Kent and his rink from the Mont real Heather Curling Club uspet defending champion Bruce Munro 6-5 in the final game of the Ontario Dunlop In- vitational Bonspiel. Kent's rink became the second team from outside the prov- i n c e of Ontario to capture the Dunlop in its six year history. Ron Northcott, fou r-time world champ from Calgary, Alber ta, was Dunlop Champion in 168. Kent, atwo-timeQuebec Brier skip, and his rink of Art Lobel, Don Aitken and M u r r y Gregga, have a $2, 000. 00 cash jackpot to divide. Last rock scores Kent had a chance to end the game in t h e 11th end if he made a chip and stay for four points. Kent fanned leaving Mun- ro with shot rock and a 5 to 5 tie going home . Kent scored one point with his 1 a s t rock in the 12th to win the game. Earlier in the day, Kent defeated Mur- ray MacGregor of Guelph in the quarter f i n a I s 8-5 and Ken Rowan of Avonlea 7-1 in the semi final game. Munro downed clubmate Tom Cushing 10-7 and former Dunlop Champion Ted Brown of Kingston 10-4'i on his way to the finals.
