A time to visit old friends and m o s t of ail - a time to wish. With visions of old St. Nick soon to make his annual visit, we often find our- selves wonderingaboutourown person- al wishes.. . If we had our own choice, w h at would each one of us like to have for Christmas. Many timeswhat we ask is impossible or beyond our grasp in some other way. O the r t imes we ask for someone el se, often for people we don't even know. But whether said aloudor as a thought burieddeep inside, weall ask atone time or another. The 'Whitby Free Press' knew they coulddo little or nothing about granting thosevwishes because that's up to Santa or often a power even greater than Santa himself.
