Debbie, having won in her division a g e (8-12), w i 1I n e x t compete in the s e c o n d r ound at Camp Borden March 18-19. A gymnastic enthusiast for one year now, the Whitby girl scored 31. 52points out of a possible 40 in the All-Ontario Championships. She is a member of the Scarborough Winstonettes, one of the 1 e a d ing gymnastic clubs in C a n a d a , w h i c h h as represented Canada at the Olympic Games. Midgets Lose To Toronto Ken Clark of the Canadian Tire Mid- get AIl-Stars scored 2 goal s in a losing cause here over the weekend when his te am was defeated 6-2 by the Toronto Red Wings. Millar Leads Bantams Mark Millar with four goals and two assists, paced the Munn's Press Bantam All-Stars toacrushing 15-0 defeat over Kingston last week. After trailing 5-1 in the third period, W h i tby tried desperately to gain for a tie, but despite a 3-goal-effort by Doug Bannan, did not record a tieing goal. Wayne Laturski scored the other Whitby mark. In Monday night action, Whitby de- feated Lindsay 8-5. Doug Bannon once again recorded a hat trick. In the third period Mike Harper went on a scoring spree for Whitby, scoring 3 goals in 2 minutes and forty-four sec- onds. John Watson and Brian McMonagl e rounded out the Whitby scoring. Lindsay will be in Whitby again this Sunday , January 30th. Game time is 3:15 p. m. Gale-Lumber Defeat Port Perry Dave Parish led a Whitby attack on Port Perry by scoring two goals in Min- or Midget AIl-Star action.
