No more dances that quit p r om ptl1y a t 12 or 1 a. m. but dances tha t go on ail night If you go to the right places. Gone w i 1I1I be the trips around the country durlng the summer to be re- placed by a mere two weeks of vacat- ion that seems fin lshed jus tas it's star t- in g. And no more cheap fl1ats to 1live inwhere the toilets wouldn't work and there was neyer enough hot water. The greatest challenge facing the graduating s tu dent is asking himsel f what he is going to do in the way of a jo0b , or better.stil11 a c a reer. Many students n e ve r get around to ask ing the question and many neyer get around t o r e al11y doing what they wanted to, do. Themajority of these students wiii have tosettle for something they don't real ly care for just so they can get a job. The time wil11 corne for them 1later when the right door wili open at the right time, and all those years in school will have f inally paid off. 1t seems wrong somehow t h a t you have to waT t until1 you Ire in your de- c i i n i n g years before you can enjoy life. Young people appreciate life so much more because they are young and b e ca use ail1 thei r facul ties are rec- eiving at full strength. They haven't h ad the chance to be c ome bi tter or prejudiced and so they accept life or refute it, knowing they are young en- ough to be able toileave thingS or change them. A graduating student is not uni ike the metamorphosis of 'the caterpillar to the butterfiy. one minute you are bound and heidback, and the next mit'i<- ute you are free to go anywhere and do anything society wiiî ailow. lt's a pretty funny feeling and a great chai- i enge. The whoie worid is out there just waiting f or hlm to grab it by the tail and go. 1 hope ali1 you readers wil11 apprec- iate the enthusiasm and zeai of a gradu- ating studentout inanewworld looking f or a job. He may flot have too much e xp e rience but, he wî11 probably try harder than most of the other employ- e es. And don'Ytknock him for being green because he m a y be green, but hef 1l probabiy be around long after
