The Whitby club scored a goal in the second period when Don Nicholson skated in and pulledl the goaltender out of his net' then fired the puck in behind hîm. The goal judge signalled a goal, but the referce called it no goal. Had this goal counted, the Tirernen nîay have been able 10 rally and corne from behind to win, or even lie the gaine.
