This decisien was ruade late last week by the con- gregation at the annuai meet- ing of the neariy century-oid church. Cost of the rebuilding pro- ject lias been estimiated at ai- niost $1I00,000 and it wiII commence as soon as inur- ance monies are received and the weather permits. It is understood that ai- thoughi the building was gutted and the roof destroyed. the walls remain intact and hayve been certified as safe for the reconstruction prograni. The minister, Dr. W.A. Mc- Kay, is unstinting in his praise of the help and co-operation extended te his congregation Oshawa by îindividuals, cherches and businesses in the region. 0f paricular note is a gift etf church pews and a pipe organ from Sheldon Rosen, a Toronto architect, Mr. Rosen recentiy purchased the aban- doned Olivet Presbyterian Cherclh, north cf the York- ville district in Toronto.
