Ail the extra effort seemns to be paying off, for returns are coming in muchi faster than last year! Each year several donations come in with a note commending the Association for their pro- grammes and others have st- am ped-addressed envelopes f- or receipts enclosed. The Association is especially grate- fui to donors who enclose a stamped-addressed envelope. Tihis year, ini order to cut costs, the Association will only be mailing rece ipts for donations of $5.00 or more, and ot hers on request. The bride is the daughter of Mr. & Mrs. Ralph O'Blenes, R.R. 2 Claremont. The bridegroomn is the son of Mr. & Mrs. Stanley Hop- kins, 1975 Guild Rd., Pickering. Escorted down the aisie by her father, the bride wore a floor length empire waisted gown of sheer nylon over satin and net. The bodice,ý wrists, and hem were trimmed in crotchied lace and interlaced with satin ribbon. The bride's bouquet was an arrangement of deep red roses, white carnations and baby's breath. Mrs. Lila O'Blenes of Whitby, sister-in-law of the bride was lier niatron of honour. Bridesmaids were Mrs. Janice O'Blenes of Oshawa, Miss Maureen O'Blen-es of Claremont and Miss Carolyn O'Bleuies of Claremont was Junior Bridesm-aid. Ronald Hopkins, of Welland, brother of the groom, was best iman. Ushers were Ken O'Blenes of Oshawa, Peter Hopkins of Pickering, and Douiglas O'Blenes of Claremont. The reception took place at the Legion Hall in Ajax. Out of town guests were from Toronto, London, Van- couver, and Massachusettes. The couple honeymooned in Northern Ontario and Manitoba.
