Allastair Gillespie, Federal Minister of Trade and Commerce, advising him that their menibership would greatly appreciate anything he and his staff could do to assure an adequate supply of newsprint for the Cana- dian weekly press. The directors of the 110 member organization emphasized -to-the Mini-- ster that the weekly news- papers of Canada are one of the few remianing pub- lications that provide a major contact with farm families.
