C.B.C. Major Midgets are still flot sure who their opponents will be in play-offs or when they will start. The team is finding it difficuit to pick-up exhibition games to keèp them sharp, with so many other teams in play offs. The C.B.C. gang were fortunate in being able to pick up 0 a game on Sunday, February 1 Oth in Brampton against the Brampton Legionnaires. The B.W. boys found the large ice surface welî suited to their type of play, bat playing 12 men to 16 they eventually ran out of steam and came out on the short end of a 7 to 4 count. Scoring for the C.B.C. team were Jim De Mille, Tom Foster, Mike Rowley and Ed szczur. Leading the way for Brampton with 2 goals was Ken Frankoff, with singles going to Ross Brownridge, Ken Chai- ssin, Gary Little, Steve Rowland and Rob Young. Brooklin Wh*itby Juvenilles BROOKLIN WHITBY JUVENILES WHITBY MALL RESTAURANT & TAVERN played their first game of the second round of Play-offs against R3ay Ridges and went down to the score of 5 - 3. Bay Ridges was leading 2 - 0 before the B.W. boys were able to score. Thley carne throughi and tied thie game at two each. Bay Ridges then went ahead by two more goals before B.W. scored again. Tay Ridges was able to get one fore to give them a two goal edgç and the first game with.the second game back in Bay Ridges. Harry Forbes came up with two goals with Steve Sandford getting the singles. Dave Parish assisted on ail three goals. BROOKLIN WFITBY MINOR MIDGETS BESTWAY TOYOTA played an exhîbition game against Markham in a real close gamne but went down by a 5 - 4 defeat. Kevin Branton got his first goal of the season with Joey Mclntyre comîng up.witli a tliree goal performance with Harold Lyn- burner getting the other goal for the B.W. Club. BROOKLIN WFITBY MINOR BANTAMS AUJDREY MOORE REALTOR travelled to Kingston for the finals in the Kingston Tournanient on the Consolation side. They lost the first game on back to back penalty shots with three players taking the shots and Markbam coming up the winners - final score 3 - 2. They met Bay Ridges in their second game and defeated them by a 6 - 1 score. They then played Kingston triple "A" Club, and lost by a 4 - 0 score. Kegistrar, Stan Taylor ad- vises that Registration dates wilI be March 30 and April 6, fees to remain at $3.00 per child or $6.00 per famiîy. Registration will take place at Brooklin Arena, St. Paul's School and Conlin School 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Proof of age will be required for new players. Keep in mmnd dates for two Assoc. Dances, April 6 and Nov. 2, 1974. These dances will be at Regal Room, Centennial Bldg. as they were unable to obtain a booking at Heydenshore. It was decided to offer thie old Pop Booth in Willow Park for sale to the highest bidder. The successful pur- chaser will be responsible for remnoval fromn the park.
