New Chairman The Durham Separate School Board has a new chairman. Shane Coburn, 47, of Pickering, was elected chair- man of the board for 1 975. Coburn. wiII replace Ivan Wallace on January 1. Coburn took the post by acclamation after three other nominees withdrew from the race. The declinees were trust- ees Morgan O'Connor, Louis Hughes and John Blakely. The withdrawals by O'Connor and Blakely disap- pointed the more than 200 teachers on hand.
