Half a dozen members and four other volunteers set up a production line to plant ord the 100 hanging baskets which wil help beautify the streets of downtown Whitby and Brooklin. In late May and early June most of the planting work in the public planting areas has to be completed, so planting the hanging baskets now will help spread out the work load for the ruembers who volunteer their time to beau- tify the community.
