The event, held at Whitby Senior Public School on Fri- day, covered ' competitive divisions from kindergarten to grade eight. Six awards were offered in each event. These young ladies won five medals in compulsory floor, two in beam, one in vault and one in optional floor. Coach Jim Higgs com- mended the girls on their three weeks of strenuous practice prior to the event. "The girls performed very close to their physical poten- tial", 'remarked the coach, "and this dedication resulted in their excellent perfor- mance". MR.
