SQU IR TS Totten, Sims and Hubicki defeated Anco Laboratories 5-1 with Darryl Musselman scoring twice --and Shawn Jones, Mike Dooley and Brad Beer contributing singles. David Banicz scored the losers' only goal. Anco Laboratories then battled to a 1-1 draw with Brooklin Concrete as Vic Refalo and Tom Clarke scored for their respective teams. Stephen Vesters scored for Geddes Carpentry and Chris Daley for Koke Car Wash in a contest which ended in a 1-1 tie. ' ATOMS Tom Scheefer scored twice to lead Whitby Bakery Clearance to a 5-1 victory over Kinsmen Club. The win- ners also got singles from Darryl Hiscocke, Mike Sicii- ano and John Schell.Tindaro Caladbrese replied for the losers. Hooker Chev Olds de- feated King West Garden Centre 5-2 on a two-goal performance by Jeff John- stone and singles by Stu Broll Frand Vandermeulen and Mark Bazarin. Les Sinden and Richard Daley replied in a loding cause. Terry James recorded a shutout -and Martin Van- Kessel scored four times to pace Whitby Welding to. an 8- 0 win over Rae R. Jones. The winners also got two goals from Clinton Davis and singles from Darryl Papou- shek and Darrin Bradley. David Craig scored four goals, Paul Hoogkamp two and Anthony Moran one as Trio T.V. downed the Whitby Mail McDonalds .7-4. Sobering drove his Crossle 25F to the win in the 20 lap Formula 100 feature while fighting off challenges by a number of competitors. The 23-year-old native of Brant- ford took the checkered flag inches ahead of runner-up David White of Brampton who piloted a Lola. Both drivers recorded record breaking laps during tie race with White establishing the new mark for Formula 100s 1:31.771 which is approxi- mately an average of 97miles per hour. Third place went to Stratford's John Scratch in his all Canadian-built Ferret. In the 2.5 litre Sedan section of 'the series, 53-year- old veteran Werner Von Engelbrechten captured his wendyk and Geraldine Cole scored singles. Pickering Flyers edged Pickering Panthers 2-1 with Kelly Johnstone and Joanne Spek scoring for the winners and Barbara Anne Hanks for the losers.. SENIOR GIRLS Joyce Meima scored twice and Pat Brouwer once in East End Meat Market's 3-2 win second consecutive win pilot- ing a BMW 2002 through the 20 lap feature 25 seconds ahead of the remainder .of the field. Paul Lambke, the 1974 Sedan Champion and .the winner of the 1975 Sedan opener, was a distant runner- up in his Datsun 510 while George Comacchio finished his Fiat 124 in third position.
