YMCA Camp Agamn this summer, the Whitby YMCA wiil be offer-ý ing te Summer Sports Camp.. This !year's progr arn wilI ,bç new and exciting with many.,, popular sports and a wide- variety of special activities suited to ail types and ages of children. Special camp buses will be provided for Sports Camp located at Henry St. High School. Heading the program will be Karyn Powell, along with Audrey Walzer, Ken Reily, Tim Marks, and Kathy Powell who are ail experi- enced ti sports camp and well qualified in many areas of sports. Roger Gomes is the YMCA Liaison Staff working with Sports Camp. Some features of the camp will be a well developed gymnastics prograni utilizing complete apparatus plus this year, thanks to the Whitby Rotary Club, a new crash pad, and floor routine mats. The two YMCA tennis courts at the -iear of Henry St. High School provide an excellent opportunity. for daily inten- sive tennis instruction. Vari- ous other sports such as badminton, softball, soccer, track and field along with special activities, tourna- ments and trips to various sports events within the community.
