In a tourney at Lakeficld, the'Stars won Ailrive garnes, defeating Bridgenorth 13-3, Lakefield 9-3, Malton 10-3, Lakefleld 5-1 and Barrie 16-0. Dale Kernohan led the Stars in scoring in the tourna- ment With 14 goals and seven assists for 21 points. John Fusco was second with 12 goals and on1e assist for 13 points. Leo Burns also picked Up 13 points on three goals and 10 assists. In the Ontario Annual Peewee Tournent lu Peter- borough, the Stars split, win- ning two and losing two. They lost 9-1 to Bramipton. defeated Sudbury 8-6, trounced Whitby 12-3 and were edged by Nepean 8-7. Dale Kernohan was the team's top point getter in the tourney, scoring eight and setting up four for a total of 12 points. John Fusco fol. lowed with eight goals and three assists for 1l points. In regular league play, however, the Stars have a poor record, wînning only once while losing three timies ini their first four starts. They are currently in fourth place i , the five team peewee division. In other divisions. the Garrard Road tykes are in second place in a three tearn league, the novices in fourth in afive team league and the bantams in fourth in a five team league.
