NOVICE The Domiiâon Caulking novices, with two goals in the final minute of the game, edged Uxbridge 5-4 as Dave McWhirter fired a hattrick and Billy Kellestine and Steve Vanderneer added singles. MINOR ATOM In minor atom play, Steve Gibson and Paul Guest shared the shutout as the Whitby Mall Florists blanked Ajax 4-0 on a pair of goals by Joey Nieuwendyk and singles by Dave Donaldson and Ray- mond Ryan. With the win, the Whitby Mall Florists have moved into sole possession of first place. MAJOR ATOM The major atom Brooklin Concrete Products were blanked 4-0 by Bay Ridges on three goals by Kirk Hengst and one by Mitch Turner. They then travelled to Ajax where they played to a 2-2 deadlock with Ajax, Roddy Collins and John Byberg scored for Brooklin and Louie Bozanis and Scott Gray for Ajax. PEEWEE In an exhibition con.est, the Ontario Regiment Major Peewee Selects edged the Aqualine Pools Minor Peewee Allstars 4-3 as Randy Taylor scored twice and Scott Burns and Greg Gibson once each. MAJOR PEEWEE In an exhibition encounter, the Lasco Steelers blanked Oshawa 8-3 on two goals by Stu Catterall, Bob Middleton and John Ellis and singles by Larry Heroux and Warren Subject. Algoma Orchards defeated Canadian Legion 5-2 as Mike Dickson with two, Rick Vesters, Chris Langford and Larry Kernohan scored for the winners. MAJOR BANTAM The Iroquois Pro Centre Major Bantams overcame a 2-0 second-period deficit to defeat Aurora 4-2 on goals by Ray McWhirter, Jamie Tutak, Ed Derks and Nick Noso- wenko. MINOR MIDGET Mary Brown's Minor Mid- gets trailed throughout in their 5-3 loss to Bowmanville who got goals by Brad Godfrey, Peter Nemiz, Rick Bain, Scott Stevens and Dean Rutherford.
