The story printed last week stated that to be a member of the centre one had to be 55 years of age or older and retired. The recreation department wishes to clarify the situation by pointing out that member- ship in the centre is open to anyone 58 years of age or over, whether or not they are retired. Membership is also available to persons aged 55 to 57 who are retired. This is the only restriction regarding retire- ment, says the recreation de- partment, which apologizes for any misconception which may have resulted from the information supplied last week.
