PAGE 17 Free bus service Comm unîty Bingo Monda y The Wiîby Coînmunity Bingo will be in Its third week Monday, and is proving to be a success, say represen- tatives of the sponsoring clubs, the Kiwanis, Jaycees, Kinsmnen and Optimists. The Bingo is held every Monday at Heydenshore Pavilion, with the first early bird games getting underway at 7: 15 p. n. There are two $ 100 Jackpots, and prize money now totals from $575 to $925 per night. A new bus route with free transportation is being pro- vided, starting at 6 p.m. at the corner of Garrard and Rossland Roads. The bus will stop at the K Mart, Thickson Road and Dundas Street, Blair Park Plaza, the Four Corners, Fairview Lodge, and turns north on Cochrane Street, stopping at Walnut, and Beech and Valley Court. The bus proceeds east along Rossland Road, and south on Brock Street, stopping at Palmerston and Starr Avenues, Maple and John Streets and the Four Corners which are reached at 6:30 p.m. The route proceeds south on Brock Street, stopping at the senior citizens centre, going along Burns and Centre Streets to the Centennial Building, along Coîborne and Henry, stopping at Henry and Burns Streets at 6:40 p.m. and reaching Heyden- shore Pavilion at 6:47 p.m. The proceeds from the Whitby Community Bingo go toward service club work in the town. Open house ai school This week is Mental Retardation Week in the Whitby area, and two mental retardation facilities will be open to the public to show what work is being done for the mentally retarded. On Friday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. the nursery school at St. Mark's United Church will hold an open house to which the public is invited.
