Diane, who received her B.A. and B.P.E., from McMaster University, gener- ates enthusiasm about lier outdoor education expertise. She hias attended annual seminars and workshops on ecology, the environment, camping administration and physical education confer- ences. A great deal.of Diane's time has been devoted to athletics. She is presently working with the Whitby YMCA on a fitness testîng project. At Play Camp, Miriam Johns will direct the program. Miriam feels one of her great- est assets is her being one of six children. At Sports Camip, Donna Gardner is welcomned back this year to direct the Camp. Donna has been with Y gymnastics at Henry Street High School. Working with Donna is Janet Venn whose fort is Modert Dance, Gary Short who will teacli tennis and track and Scott Morgan wil be responsible for Volley- bail, Floor Hockey and Handball. Laura Evans will direct the Creative Arts Camp. In 1973, Laura instructed the crafts for the Y Day Camp and in 1974 lead the arts program for the Y Creative Arts Camp.' Last sunimer she was the playground specialist for the Recreation Department in Whitby. Laura graduates this year with a Bachelor of Music Arts from Western University. Creative Arts Camp will make both group and individual projects along with musical communication and dance. - Rusty Neal will work with ail the camps through the Counsellor In Leadership Training program. Rusty worked with the camps for four years, 1968, 19%9, 1970 and 1971. 7or the last year Rusty has been working for an Exchange program in Canada and Sri Lanka (Ccylon). During the week of May 17, the Day Camp directors conducted interviews for counselling staff. Ninety studenis applied to wvork with the Y Camps. Staff Training will be conducted June 29 and 3Oth.
