On Friday in Orillia, the Warriors dropped a narrow 4-3 decision to the Terriers, who trailed 2-1 after the second period. Orillia was paced by Barrie Dutes who scored two goals. Ed Taylor, Bill Glover and Mike Keenan scored for the visitors who were outshot 45-29 but were kept in the game by the play of goaltender Dave Hulme. On Sunday in Whitby, the Warriors never recovered fron 3-0 deficit early in the period, and were defeated 4-2 by the Barrie Flyers. Bob Baird led the Flyers with two goals, one into the empty net when the Warriors pulled goalie Mike Ryckman in favour of an extra attacker. Paul Regan and Gary Lyte scored singles for the winners who outshot Whitby 33-27. Eddie Shack and Wayne Morrissey replied for the Warriors. Whitby plays host to Cambridge on Sunday. John Jordan held the hot stick for B-W picking up a hat trick with Dan Kemp bagging a single. Garry Bruce picked up two assists. On October 18, the C.B.C.'s entertained their arch rivals from Ajax at Iroquois Park Arena in Whitby taking this encounter by 3-1. The C.B.C.'s got goals from Dan Kemp, Dean Seymour and Terry Whyte. Anderson Juniors win, Seniors lose Anderson Collegiate Vocational Institutes' girls basketball teams saw plenty of action last week. The Junior Raiders won a pair of games while the Seniors lost their only contest. The Juniors defeated Brighton 42-33 in a game played at A.C.V.I. Linda Brown and Liz Browne led the winners with 14 points each. In another home contest, the Juniors topped Uxbridge 38-10. Once again, Anderson was paced by Linda Brown and Liz Browne who scored 10 and eight points respective- ly. Anne Stocks and Cathy Brown each contributed four points. However, the Senior Raiders found their counter- parts from Uxbridge a little tougher as they dropped a 36-8 decision to the visitors. Tanya Burséy, with four points, was high scorer for the losers.
