The advisory coînmittee, formed a year ago, consists of a dozen people representing theWhitby Recreation Depart- ment, the Durham Region Board of Education, the Whitby YMCA, the West Lynde Comnunity Associa- tion and individual area residents. The members meet on a rnonthly basis to co-ordinate community activities in the school. A.mong the facilities available are a gymnasiurn, music room and classrooms which can be used for work- shops, clinies and craft classes. The roonis are available at no charge.
