Whitby drew first blood at the 20-second mark of the first period, and a good team effort resulted in victory. During:the pre-game warm- ups, Tyrone ]Hobbs was struck on the head with a puck, requiring six stitches. Later, during the second period, Bill Lustie, recently acquired frorn Brantford, fell into the boards with one of his teamn mates. A deep cut above the left eye required five stitches. With performances like that of Sunday night, there are hopes that the Warriors could bring the Allan Cup back home again.
