Thé final standings showed the Whitby club in fourth place behind league leading Peter- borough. Belleville and Bow- manville in third spot. The K of C club ended the schedule ahead of Oshawa, Cobourg and Ajax. The sea- son finale went nine innings before it was called and it gave the K of C club a record of 8 wins, 2 ties and 8 lasses enabling them ita finish over the .500 mark a target they had set for themnselves in early going. Paul Guest was the winning pitcher and al- thaugh Bawmanville picked up 14 hits off starter Guest and Greglanarilli wha pitch- ed the final three innings the hits were scattered. The K of C's got only seven hits but ended up with the saine number of runs on the board, which is where it counts.
