The tea m's franchise, whichi hiad been for sale since the end of the 1976-77 hockey sea.son wais purchiased in August by Gary McDougall, a former London Ontario resident wlio lives in Whitby. Mr. MeDougal is a 26- year-old publishier of a college football magazine. Hie-plans te have-a new playing coach for the teamn, and a nuiwber of ne w players on the roster. 'Flecncw playing coach is dc fe ncenman Stelve, Cardwel operates the Oshawa and District Hockey School. He replaces Mike Keenan and Gary Milroy who were last year's playing coaches. One of the new players is Kim Crouch, son of fire chief Ed 'Crouch, who has played hockey at the Junior level with the Pickering Panthers and other teamrs. Kim was much in the news in January 1975 when his throat was cut by a skate during a gaine in North York. He will be a goaltender for the Warriors sharing duties with Mike Ryckmnan and Chris Cathcart.
