She then intro- duced the guest speaker for the evening, Chris Grahamn, of the R.B.G., Hamilton. He chose as his topic, "Fal Planting and Preparation of your Garden for Winte r". He demonstrated the faciîity with which growing plaifts mnay be propogated and stressed in particular the economic aspect of this operation. His subject was wisely chosen as saving money is of prime impor- tance to everyone today, flot just plant loyers. Mr. Graham also showed some beautiful slides of the Royal Botanical Gardens including the famious Rock Gardens. He then answered questions on winterizing the garden and it was evident tha t he possessed extensive know- ledge of his chosen subjects and imparted it to his audience in a very straîght- forward manner. Joan Brak thanked the speaker for his interesting and informative ta)k. The judges for show, Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Tink proved to be very helpful with thcir suggestions on how the show entries could be improved upon.
