Sketches feature historic buidiengs For the second time in seven years the Whiitby Rotary Club is selling a series of County.,Town Sketches as a fund-raising project. . This new set 'of sketches, ail different frorn the series issued in 1971, was painted in acrylics by Whitby artists Dave Aikenhead, and Jorn Dressel, whýo based*some of- ûiie sketches on old photo. graphs fromn the Whitby Historical Society archives. The prints are 12 by eight inches and will sell at $8. a set. There -are sixiprints in a set and 1 ,000 sets have been printed. The following is a des- cription of each of the sketches.
