The bazaar is a joint effort of ail the Red Cross branches in the Durham Region with the proceeds going to inter- national relief. Ail the crafts are hand- made by volunteer women working for the Red Cross A. 1. D. (Assistance Interna- tional Domestic)- forrnerly calied Women's Work Service. The Whitby Red Cross A.1.D. is headed. by Mrs. Gladys McKenzie. Every Ttiesday afternoon Mrs. McKenzie and her group meet to make hand knitted ar tiçies. bedding layettes and crafts.
