The booth opened Monday and will continue in operation until the end of August. Hours are 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Monday, Tuesday and Thursday, and noon to 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The booth is closed on Wednesdays. Arnold Ashton, 19, of Ashburn, a Grade 13 grad- uate f rom Anderson Collegiate, was hired by the Chamber through Canada Manpower to operate the booth for the summer. He will have available at the booth, road maps of Whitby and the province of Ontario, outlines of Whitby Recreation Departrnent, Whitby Arts and YMCA activities, Ontario tourism information pamphlets, and County Town Carnival programs. 3 men arrested An alert off-duty police off icer, Const.
