The information booth set up by the Whitby Chamber of Commerce at the Four Corners is the only ticket sale location. Tickets are $2.50 for éhildren andd .4 for adults. Times- of the circus performances are 8 _p.m. on Aug. 5 and 1 p.m., 4 p.m. and 7 p.m. Aug. 6. The Whitby Chamber of Commerce, which is spon- soring the circus, is running a "Colour the Clown" lucky draw for free children's tickets to the circus. Clown sketches are available at the Chamber information booth, and are to be turned in to the booth when completed. Froni July 31 to Aug. 4 there wil -be draws for 50 free children's tickets each aay for a total 0f 250 tickets. Winners will be notified bye phone,-and their pictures will be displayed in the windows of downtown stores'. The Garden Brothers Circus is the first three-ring circus to perform in the iroquois Park Arena. Whitby residents may remember that this circus was the scene of a marriage in the Lions den when it played at Maple L.eaf Gardens a few mionths ago. Nick Novak Will conduct a lithography class Tuesdays from July 25 to Aug. 29 from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. Students will be responsible for print- xnaking, papers and plates which wil be available at the Station. Ail other materials are included in the fee. Mr. Novak will also be instructing an etching class Thursdays from July 27 to Aug. 31 from 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.m. In the etching print- making process, marks are scratched or eut into a metal plate. lnk is then rubbed ieito them and a. print is taken. Unstructured life drawing classes will be held Thurs- days July 20 and Aug. 17 and 24. frorn 7:30 p.m. to 10 p.rn. OBITUARY LARRY DISNEY Lawrence Vernon Disney, owner of Disney Motors in Whitby for the past three years, died in a drowning accident July 9 at Lake Scugog. Mr. Disney, who lived at 201 Whiteoaks Court, was born at Pickering Jan. 18, 1932, a son of Vernon and Jean Disney. He had operated a car dealership in Pickering before coming to Whitby, where he loc ated on Brock Street North. Mr. Disney is survived by three daughters, Brencla (Mrs. Smith( of Beeton, Lynda (Mrs. Cotton) of R.R. 2 Washago, Ont., and Dawn (Mrs. Van Siekie) of Port Hope. He is also survived by one brother Carl and one sister Shirley, and two grandchildren, Sandra Lynn Van Sickle and James Bradley Cotton. The funeral was held July 12 at the McEachnie Funeral Home, Piâeriîig Village, d by interment in Erskie Cemnetery. In lieu of flowers the family aaks that donations b. sent to the charltyr of Yoea cholce. The prograni will include field trips to the Art Gallery of Ontario on Aug. 1 and 22 froni 10 arn. to 3 p.m. The first session is July 25 to July 28 and Aug. 1 to 4 from 10 a.m. to noon. The second session is Aug. 15 to 18 and Aug. 22 to 25 from 10 a.m. to noon. Recommended age is seven to 13 years.
