Harry Jermyn, principal of the school from 1932 to 1942 will be present at the reunion to give a talk on the history of the Model Sehool. MWr. Jermyn is a former iayor of Whitby and Provincial Court Judge. Also attending will be Warren Mowatt qnnther former mayor of Whitby and a graduate of the Model School. The original Model Sehool bulit in 1875 was demolished about 1968 or 1969 after it was dainaged by fire, but addi- tions built in the 1950s remain today as the Florence Heard School. Miss Heard succeeded Harry Jermyn as principal of the school, and taught there for Mr. Sturgess would like to hear from anyone who attended the Model School before 1935, s0 they can be included in the reunion. Games were Aug. 6 in Whitby, Aug. 12 in Belleville and if necessary a third game in Whitby on Aug. 13 at Peel Park at 1:00 p.m. In regular season play Whitby defeated Belleville twice, but both contest were well played and competitive.
