The day is designed to allow residents of Whitby and -Brooklin to "ldrop in" for quiet reflection and prayer any, tirne betweeni 8 a.rn. and 10 p.m. The fir.sct fifteen minutes of every hour wiil be aliotted to carefully selected and quali- fied iay people who will1 seek to focus attention on their topic, " such as Peâe, Healing, Government, Labour- andi Industry' Family Life and 'Youth. The Churches of Whitby are seeking to show their Christian soiidarity, espe- eially during the Week of Praver for Christian Unitv. Praye r ù by establishing this speciai Day of Prayer., Members of the cornrunity are invited to, corne and join with people of ail denorninations. There wiil be adequate parking ai. the church. The present, plan is to arrange for srnall "core" groups of peopie to be pre- sent in the church through- out the day.
