The DeHarts moved to an easy victory In, the first game by winning 14 to 7 over the Cobourg team, Kim Shearer led the Whltby team with three runs folowed, with a pair'of runs from'TaMmy Cox and Diane Peters. Debra Young belted a Grand Slam Home Bun to score four for Whitby. 1In the second gamne Whitby took a close 7 to 5 win with Gayle Hay getting a home run and scoring two for the DeHarts. On June 4 the Glenfield team from the North York League fai!led to show giving Whitbv a win. On June 6 Whitby went to Richmond Hilli and 'were startled by a much improved team.
